DICKENS AND CHRISTMAS

Charles Dickens was born in Porstmouth , England . He was an English writer and novelist and one of the best known . He became a newspaper reporter ,and wrote his first novel , which was very popular . Then he wrote three more novels . His novels were very popular during his life .

His family was very poor . The father´s Dickens went to prison when he was only 12 because the father couldn´t pay the money that he had borrowed , so Dickens went to work in a factory.

He spent a lot of hours writing but he also has time for his family and for helping people .

Opinion : I like the book because it is entertaining and shows that Christmas doesn´t like all people and money is not the most important thing and can´t buy a happy life .

A CHRISTMAS CAROL ( Charles Dickens )

The story is about a miserable , old mean called Scrooge who thinks that Christmas is humbug and the only thing that is important for him is making money . One night visited him the ghost of Jacob Marley to tell him that three more spirits would visit him on Christmas Eve : the ghost of the past , present and future to help him to change his life . At one o´clock on the first night of  Christmas Eve

 the ghost of the past visit him and showed him his lonely childhood when he was at  the school and the spirit also showed him the death of his sister . The second spirit was the ghost of the present that showed how his nephew and his clerk spent Christmas although that his soon was ill . The last spirit was the one of the future that showed the shadows  and Scrooge saw himself dead , and tiny Tim was dead too.
Finally Scrooge woke up and he was a new person who liked Christmas .

Snowflake is a term for someone that he/she is unique and special , but really are not . The “ snowflake generation “ is commonly used to refer to young people , who are perceived to be over-sensitive and intolerant of disagreement. They say that being a “snowflake” is bad for your health and in addition they think it could have a negative effect of its own. Young people are more likely to have experienced stress , anxiety …

I think that this term could be wrong for some people and we should think about the health care .

Hierarchy is a way of organising people at different levels . But is this necessary ? I think that in a Company of workers there are no good workers and bad workers , there are better and worse . There isn´t a “ superchiken model “. For that I don´t think that it´s necessary to make a difference between them . 

When workers compete between each other wanting to do the work alone to be better , the work goes wrong , so the key is to work as a team. If you put your ideas in common in groups the ideas are better and more flowing .

I think that the connection between workers is essential to do a better work.

LONELINESS , ISOLATION , TEENAGERS ,SEX !!!

Today we are living in a world where we can't live without mobiles phones or internet . This can have consequences.

On the one hand almost all children have mobiles at the age of 10 or before and this can be dangerous because they can access to all of places. A lot of children say that they have seen porn videos without wanting. Their parents don´t know this because they have abandoned their children to the internet too.

On the other hand mobile phones are useful to children because they can use them to do homework , play intelligent games or chat with their friends . So mobiles also have their positive part .

I think children should have phones when they are ready and if they have them before, it should be with the caution of their parents .

Our society is becoming toxic . Objectifying women is a sign of inequality . We are living in a male chauvinist society where we think that women are below men and for that a lot of children , especially girls suffer gender violence . A lot of people and children have died every day because of aggressions of men , suicides …

Young people think they are not beautiful and they don´t feel well with about their own body because they are afraid of what others think . Television images influence in this because they show the perfect woman prototype .

I think when men change their way of seeing women society will be change .

Hi  dear Jonh !
How are you ? I´m fine and I hope you are fine too. I´m writing to thank you for your advice about how to take care of my little sister . These days have been too hard because my parents weren´t stay at home , and my little sister and I have been alone , so I felt really stressed .
She has been crying a lot and I found it difficult that she was silent kept , you know how difficult is it? You can´t  imagine. I also tried to make her eat , so I followed your advice and it was great ! Thanks again for all . I don´t know what I ´d do without you ! Kisses , Marina .

FASHIONS!!!

I´m a fashion fan and not a fashion slave . I enjoy wearing modern clothes but doesn´t obsess me. I think the most important thing is to be comfortable and dress as you like. Sometimes people wear clothes that maybe don´t like it too much buy they wear them because they are fashionable.

Our bodies all come in different shapes and sizes so we should develop our own shopping strategy. Fashion is different in each country and people dress in different way , however , it´s important to remember to choose a look that you feell comfortable with . Just be yourself !

PLASTIC - EATING ENZYME COULD HELP FIGHT POLLUTION , SCIENTISTS SAY

Plastic is now a big problem because all of us use it lot . Plastic bottles , wrappers and even children´s plastic toys. The problem with this kind of material is that it can take a lot of time to disappear from the earth . Moreover some people throw away plastic into the water and this can cause the death of fishes and other marine animals .

Now scientists from USA and Britain have discovered an enzyme that can digest the plastic in an easy and fast way . This could in future help fight against pollution.

In my opinion I find it very curious how a simple enzyme can make the plastic disappear and help the earth to be clean and unpolluted .

FOOD AND FOOD WASTE , A BIG WORLD PROBLEM

Every day people throw away the food that they do not eat and there are many poor people who do not have money to eat and buy . So, why throwing away the food? In Sydney, they have opened the first supermarket of rescued –food that provides donated products. This way, no food is wasted . Morover in Australia customers are asked to pay what they can and as they feel .

I think that people should be more careful with the food that they buy and not waste it.
